Frontrunner Plus at Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Heathrow

The Ramada Jarvis Heathrow has installed Frontrunner Plus, part of the Frontrunner entrance flooring system, at both of its public entrances. This busy hotel which serves Heathrow Airport has 200 rooms together with conferences centres and two restaurants.

Due to the hotel’s location and high traffic flow, it was essential for the Ramada Jarvis to install high performance entrance matting between the external and internal sliding doors to clean and dry the shoes of visitors. This dramatically lessens the risk of slipping on the tiled floor as well as to helping to keep the interior clean thereby reducing maintenance costs. It also enhances the look of the entrance creating a crisp and efficient welcome.

Frontrunner Plus is the perfect solution for this type of heavy use application. Manufactured with integral absorbent inserts within a heel-proof vinyl grid, the unique combination scrapes, cleans and dries the shoes while any dirt remaining falls through the grid and is not transferred inside. Available in 75 different colour combinations, it is also heel-proof and stick-proof and provides easy access for wheelchairs.

Frontrunner Plus can be trimmed easily on site to fit any shape, such as within revolving doors, between sliding doors or irregular shaped matwells. Its unique flexibility means it will contour over uneven or rough surfaces, while remaining stable underfoot, and is easily lifted for cleaning and removal of dirt. Other entrance matting options include Frontrunner Brush with brushes instead of absorbent insets within the vinyl grid, Frontrunner 100% vinyl grid and external Frontrunner XT which is similar but with extra deep tread for increased slip resistance.
