Crossgrip is loose laid and remains stable in winds of up to 96km/h -60mph- (laboratory tests have shown that when laid flat on a stable platform it remained in position for wind speeds of 150 km/h -93mph-). Due to its flexible construction, the matting contours easily over uneven surfaces and its raised 14mm height helps it to straddle ponding water. The loose lay system ensures the roof substrate remains free from fixing damage and means the matting can be easily and quickly relocated.
Crossgrip’s vinyl composition makes it resistant to bacterial growth and impermeable in all weathers, including extremes of heat and ice, thereby providing a very slip resistant walkway which is permanent and only requires minimal maintenance.
Two versions of the matting are available in 10m rolls and various widths. Standard black or light grey Crossgrip is manufactured from 100% PVC and is compatible with EPDM, PVC and modified bitumen roofs while newly launched white Crossgrip TPO is also compatible with TPO waterproof membranes.
