Plastex Matting News
Pool floats and platforms are usually used for marking permanent water polo field lines, but for 2 hour public pool sessions, these aren’t very practical. Here’s where Plastex Floorline Water Polo matting revealed to be very easy to use yet effective.
In fact, it is quick to lay down, whilst being slip resistant and supplied in a 15m one piece tri-coloured red, yellow and green roll.
Made from flexible PVC, the matting can be easily laid out when a new session begins and quickly rolled up at the end of it.
A 15m roll has a diameter of only 38cm and weighs 30 kgs, meaning it’s also easy to store and carry.
Furthermore, it has an overall height of 6mm, which means it is not a trip hazard for people walking on it.
Anti-microbial and anti-fungal additives and a certified slip resistant surface (Class C under DIN 51097) also ensure continued hygiene and safety underfoot for the referee even when the matting is wet.
Two rolls may be used for each side of the pool in either 45cm or 60cm widths. Just like in a water polo field, the red portion around the goal mouths is 2m long, the yellow one is 3m long, whilst the green one can be anywhere between 5m and 10m long.
