Introducing our latest electrical insulation matting: Flexi Tred Xtra, now with enhanced safety and durability.
With a 4.6mm thickness and tested to ASTM D178 Class 1 standards, this matting is ideal for areas where electrical shock risk and comfort are key – including around switchboards and electrical panels. To meet safety requirements, the reverse is continuously marked with the ASTM standard and results. It offers a 27kV breakdown voltage, delivering strong insulation and resistance to electrical interference.
The durable ribbed surface provides slip resistance, is easy to clean, and stands up to wear. Naturally resistant to acids, oils, and chemicals, Flexi Tred Xtra is a reliable choice for manufacturing, production, and busy commercial environments.

We recommend adhering your mat to the subfloor using an adhesive suitable for heavy-duty or wet areas. Suitable options include F Ball’s Styccobond F73 PLUS, a single-pack, heavy-duty flooring adhesive designed for installing a wide range of floorcoverings; Styccobond F81, a solvent-free, two-part epoxy adhesive specifically formulated for use in areas exposed to surface water; or Styccobond F84, a two-part reactive epoxy adhesive ideal for securing a variety of sheet floorcoverings.
